The Beginning -One Daring Experiment

This is all new to me, I was in a course last semester that required blogging and it terrified me!!! This semester I will step into the scary water by blogging about my dogs who are my life. My husband and I recently lost our second oldest to renal failure and 13 months before that we had lost our oldest to a brain tumor. We have 3 wonderful furr babies still with us, but my life has become really conflicted with wanting to explore and express my feelings about the incredible loss I feel with Matilda and Watts gone...as a couple that have actively chosen not to have human children it is difficult to negotiate putting out dogs at the same emotional and social level as other couples would put their children.

I can imagine that this first blog is a little difficult to follow, feels incredible and scary to begin to write about my girls. I look forward to posting their pictures soon and open to what others might find they want to share.

My current furr babies are a beagle, maltese, and dachsund/chihuaha mix and Matilda who just recently passed was a cocker spaniel/beagle mix.
